Students are the central theme in SHREC. Partner funding go directly supports graduate students, and projects fulfill the thesis requirements for their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Students work closely with partners throughout their studies, gaining invaluable real-world skills and experience.
About SHREC
The NSF SHREC Center is a consortium comprised of over 30 university, agency, industry, and institute partners working collaboratively on advanced research and workforce development in mission-critical computing and systems, from spacecraft to supercomputers.

Collaborative Research
SHREC brings together researchers, engineers, and graduate students from leading organizations in the space and HPC communities to collaborate on research projects featuring advanced concepts and technologies in intelligent, parallel, reconfigurable, dependable, and distributed computing.
